Individual Therapy
The level of compassion and knowledge that we have towards ourselves directly impacts how we feel and how we relate to those closest to us. When you enter a therapeutic relationship with me, we will uncover the roadblocks holding you back so that your relationship to yourself naturally becomes more productive and harmonious.
I have specialized training in working with PTSD, Complex-PTSD and dissociation. I'm also well versed in working with existential concerns as well as relationships. I look forward to meeting you soon. EMDR Intensives are extended sessions that are planned ahead and of time and involve working on specific goals for the future, integration, and/or trauma content.
EMDR
I provide EMDR therapy for adults ages 18 and up. I was EMDR trained while working as an intern at Ft. Benning Family Life Center in Columbus, GA in 2013.
As I've had more experiences both in and out of the therapy room, I realize that clients are often in pain or stuck in old patterns because of trauma.
The harmful patterns vary by person but can include things like people pleasing, avoiding conflict, lack of boundaries, anger management issues, lack of access to anger, flashbacks or nightmares, to name a few.
EMDR can accelerate your healing process and help you in overcoming negative past experiences. EMDR therapy can help you cope in the present day and create space for better reactions and habits in the future.
EMDR is a research-based modality which means it has scientific backing that proves its efficacy.
